Charles Stross ist ein Shooting-Star der anglophonen SF. "Accelerando" darf ich mal als Buchtitel in den Raum werfen. Das ist ihm zu gönnen, er ist dazu auch noch ein netter Kerl. Aber der plötzliche Erfolg scheint seine Schattenseiten zu haben... jedenfalls wenn man dieser seiner Äußerung in der Newsgroup r.a.s.f.c. glauben darf:

You are old enough to know that if you should find yourself at a good restaurant, it is a bad idea to try to eat anything bigger than your own head.

Similarly, if you should suddenly find yourself catapulted from obscurity, try not to sign any multi-book contracts that require you to write a stack of pages per year that is too thick to fit between your open jaws.
